Hey all, if you're curious about Linux but don't wanna screw up your system, check out Knoppix Linux. You download the ISO, burn it to CD and then boot from CD. The whole thing runs off the CD so you never need to install anything on your hard drive. Its cool, and it is a good way to see if linux is for you.

I downloaded this the other day and played around with it. I think Knoppix is great to have in case of "emergencies", like if your HD craps out, you can run your system on Knoppix until you get a replacement. I booted, and had pretty much everything working fine except for my sound card (Audigy 2).

Now is there anything like this, except for HTPCs? :)
