Playback, NOT just 1080p

HTPCF Member Group: Members Posts: 2 Member No.: 7,264 Joined: 10-January 11	Hi people, i really need some help! I have built a kick ass HTPC but can not seem to get smooth video playback (judders/choppy). It happens when playing DVD through the DVD Rom drive or a small 500mb DivX file or evan a large 30GB MKV file........ All the same. I have tried every single player under the sun and all codec packs and searched these types of forums for months now to find the answer. The PC is to high spec, 4GB ram ATI HD 5670, quad core. Playing on Samsung TV which can support 24fps and is 60Hz 1080p Please HELP before i finally smash my head against the wall to hard.

HTPCF Member Group: Members Posts: 17 Member No.: 7,662 Joined: 22-February 11	Can you let us know the exact CPU and motherboard combo. Also, Its possible that if you have been trying tons of tweaks and codec packs you may have tweaked your system to death. I mean that the settings and codecs may be so far out of whack you might have to format and start over.
