temps for a p4c in an htpc?

hey guys. new to the forum and i built my first htpc. its a p4 3.0ghzc non overclocked. its my main rig but i wanted it in a smaller case that i coudl hide with my other components. my question is that i went from a lage spacious case to the dvine 4 series. is 56c to 58c normal for this case. i use to get round 45 to 49c in the other case. i have an slk900u with a vantec stealth 92mm on top.

You should be fine, the CPU is rated up to 65-70 degrees C. If your system encounters stability problems, you may need to improve on the cooling...but don't worry about frying the CPU, since P4s have thermal protection built in.

I heard the newer AMD cpu's are running alot cooler now.

AMD have always been cooler! not just there temp's lol! P4's are fine i think you just need to sort out the air flow and you may drop 5 degrees C. but as she is shes fine. i once had a panic attack after uninstalling my water cooling and see temp's go up from 25 degrees to 35 degrees C i thought the chip was to hot but id only got use to seeing low temps lol!
