I am just getting into the HTPC scene with a my Dell Precision T3400, and i'm starting to convert all my DVDs to MKVs with Handbrake. I'm currently using XBMC to watch the movies on my TV, and Plex to stream my content to my iOS devices. I have a question in regards to movies encoded with Handbrake, because it seems that the movies i make with that are significantly low in volume, and I need to turn up the volume higher, almost twice the normal volume of the normal DVDs. The encoding settings i'm using for the DVDs are: RF = 15, AAC audio @ 320 kbps and Pro Logic II. Anyone have any idea of what this volume issue could be, if it even is a problem? Thanks
