Hey everyone, i'm new here and i'm currently building up my media center, which i now am finding out is called an HTPC. Here are the specs of the computer:

Dell Precision T3400
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
4x2GB memory
2x300GB SAS 15K HDDs
Nvidia Quadro FX1700 512MB
Intel HD audio

Sony Trinitron 36in tube TV via S-video
Samsung 42in HDTV via DVI
Dell Ultrasharp via DVI (for work)

Wishlist:
Logitech K400 keyboard
2TB HDD
Sound card with Toslink
Blu-ray burner

Please comment on what you think on the setup. Thanks

I would say the video is going to be a let down with the card you have. Get an up to date video card which supports the latest HDMI spec. You don't say which OS. Win 7 is probably the best way to go with the up to date WMC and codecs. And for a few extra bucks, why not a TV tuner card as well?
